Perry's Approval Rating Among Texans Significantly Diminishes... It's about time!
pstern 05:35 on 26 January 2012 Simply stated, Perry is an idiot! I apologize to the remnants of the Rick Perry fan club [and there are a few fools left, believe it or not], but the truth is the Truth. After his ignorant and often comical debating performance at the national level, the not-at-all-ready-for-Primetime Governor has significantly soured in the minds of Texas voters. Not only has the Governor's image plummeted, but so has the nation's view of Texas and Texans. According to the results of a poll taken by the Austin American-Statesman and other Texas newspapers, Perry's approval rate of registered Texas voters is below the national approval rate of President Obama. Perry's poor showing also has more Texans saying that the Governor should NOT run for reelection when his term expires in 2014. Naturally, since that is 2 years away, Perry could miraculously change the tide and could possibly increase his approval rating; however, in review of the Governor's past 11-year history, it is unlikely unless there is a huge change in his managerial and political actions from now on. Perry's team remains grandiose and brain-dead by stating that Perry may attempt another run for President in 2016, "especially if Obama is reelected." C'mon, dudes, really? And "may God have mercy on our souls!" -------------------------------------------------------------------- To view the full results of the actual poll click HERE. |
