Perry's Approval Rating Among Texans Significantly Diminishes... It's about time!
pstern 05:35 on 26 January 2012 Simply stated, Perry is an idiot! I apologize to the remnants of the Rick Perry fan club [and there are a few fools left, believe it or not], but the truth is the Truth. After his ignorant and often comical debating performance at the national level, the not-at-all-ready-for-Primetime Governor has significantly soured in the minds of Texas voters. Not only has the Governor's image plummeted, but so has the nation's view of Texas and Texans. According to the results of a poll taken by the Austin American-Statesman and other Texas newspapers, Perry's approval rate of registered Texas voters is below the national approval rate of President Obama. |

Great State-of-the-Union Address by Obama --- in an Election Year
pstern 11:02 on 25 January 2012 We all know that Obama is a great orator, one of the best. The speech he presented had some great moments; however, I recall many of the same issues and promises back 3 years ago when he was sworn in as our President. |

The Rick Perry Reality Show
Trying to Point Fingers for the Campaign Loss
by Peter Stern
Some political writers e.g., like Jason Embry of the Austin American-Statesman, discuss that Perry failed in his bid for GOP Presidential candidate because of "internal turmoil" in his campaign management. While there may be some truth in that belief, it is the man himself who caused the failure of his campaign.

Perry-appointed Workforce Commission Chairman Tom Pauken Still Trying to Con Texans
pstern 15:36 on 20 January 2012 The Texas Tribune printed a small brief on the Workforce statistics on lower unemployment, trying to portray the lie that the Texas economy is improving. Not only does Rick Perry lie through his teeth, but obviously so do his appointees in prime positions in state agencies. |

Perry's Support is Disintegrating Quickly

If Americans are so damn unhappy with their Congress, then why aren’t they doing anything about it?
It’s easier to complain than to get out there and vote
by Peter Stern
Currently, it is documented that a mere 5 percent of Americans think Congress is doing a good job, which also means that almost 95 percent of them think Congress is doing a crummy job. So, why let our legislative leaders get away with it? Why aren’t more Americans getting to the polls and voting-out lackluster incumbents by voting-in “new blood” and replacing them?

Great to see President Obama Finally Whack Congress With His Appointments
pstern
10:31 on 8 January 2012
The GOP Congress is at home for the holidays whining into their collective beers. Why? President Obama finally whacked them all with a 2X4 by making his appointments during the congressional recess. The GOP will be howling at the moon for a long time to come.

There really are no good GOP candidates
peter stern 14:15 on 6 January 2012 There really is no good choice for a GOP Presidential candidate to run against Obama. If there was one, I probably would vote for him or her. In fact, the GOP resembles the Year 2000 Democratic Party, which also had no real leaders. Currently, the GOP looks like a group of clowns. |

Who is Congressman Ron Paul...
peter stern 07:06 on 4 January 2012 The Real Ron Paul: Republican, Libertarian, Pragmatist or Racist? by Peter Stern There is a brief article [reprinted below] on Congressman Ron Paul that considers some of his platforms, actions and comments. Personally, I don’t think they are as “eye opening” as the author states, but I also have been following Ron Paul for the past 12 years, so I am aware of these documented points. |
