Being dissatisfied with the candidates of either main party, I was driven to search out other candidates with Independent and 3rd party affiliations. Needless to say, I was sadly disappointed in the possibilities.
I discovered a site that has listings of each candidate and each party or independent groupings. There even is a listing of those possible candidates who announced their refusal to run in 2012.

There is the usual assortment of whackos running for President, e.g., the Naked Cowboy of New York City and Rosanne Barr of television notoriety.
However, there is a huge shortage of credible, intelligent alternatives and it seems that the American people will be forced once again to vote for and accept the least of the evils.
