Like many of our "institutions" the two-sides of
an issue are completely polar opposites.
There seldom are intelligent people who are middle-grounded or who are
willing to talk and come to "a meeting of the minds." This irrational reality of radical opposing
forces on virtually every issue is making life in the US an extremely difficult
and reality-based solutions are seldom provided. Bickering and shutting-out the opposition is
the toddler approach to decision-making and it is ruining our nation and citizenry. It is both sad and frightening to observe.
